New Delhi: Lucknow University has announced that it will conduct its undergraduate even semester final examination in MCQ pattern. The new format is specifically for Lucknow University students and degree colleges affiliated with the university.
The press release issued by Lucknow University reads,” The students of Lucknow University and associated colleges are hereby informed that the semester examinations of BA, BSc, and B Com (2nd, 4th, and 6th semester) of the graduation semester June 2022 will be conducted in the MCQ pattern”.
According to a statement by a LU spokesperson, the new pattern has been adopted in accordance with NEP 2022. Students of the first, second, and third years will appear in the MCQ-based exam instead of the usual essay format.
In the second semester, there will be a total of 150 questions of 1 mark each, and students will only be required to answer 75 of them in order to qualify for the test. However, the 4th and 6th semesters graduation exams will be conducted as before using the MCQ system, with a total of 80 questions of 1 mark each and students need to answer all of them.
Meanwhile, Lucknow University Admission 2022 is ongoing for its postgraduate programmes for the current academic session. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form by June 10. To be eligible for the PG programmes, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with 45% aggregate marks. The entrance exam will be conducted from June 1 to June 10, 2022.
