Madras University: 99.88 Pass Percentage Recorded In UG And PG Final Semester Examinations

Madras University has released the final semester results for both UG and PG and recorded a pass percentage of 99.88. 

The final semester examination April 2020 for both UG and PG were conducted in September 2020.

A total of 1,05,826 Undergraduate final year students of Madras University have appeared for the final semester examination.

The postgraduate final year students appeared for the final semester exam at Madras University is observed to be 3,657.

Madras University received a total of 4,07,319 answer scripts out of which 4,04,125 scripts were declared to be passed.

The overall pass percentage of the candidates who have appeared for the final semester examination is recorded to be 99.88%.

Madras University has also released a report which stated that about 2,695 undergraduate students and 39 postgraduate students were absent on the day of the final semester examination.

The university stated that such students have to take up the examination again.

2,734 final year students from both undergraduate and postgraduate courses will have to write the arrear exams to be declared graduated, the University stated.
