Manish Sisodia Announces New IP University Campus in Delhi


New Delhi: Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Education Minister, stated that a new university campus of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University will soon be built in Delhi.

The new campus for IP University will be built in east Delhi. 2400 students can be accommodated on the site to provide higher education. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) is in the final stages of construction on its East Delhi campus.

Under the direction of CM ArvindKejriwal, Delhi will soon get another brand-new university campus: the East Delhi campus of IP University. today inspected the final stage of its construction. The minister tweeted that this state-of-the-art facility would give 2400 students access to top-tier higher education.

The campus's opening was announced last year, i.e; 2021. The University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) and the University School of Design & Innovation are two new institutions that IP University has established under the new campus (USDI). The east Delhi campus of these universities at Surajmal Vihar will offer five new bachelor's degree programmes.

These comprise USAR programmes with 120 seats each in BTech in Automation and Robotics, BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, BTech in Industrial Internet of Things, and one BDes programme at USDI.
