New Delhi: MS University is inviting applications for admission to its PhD Program for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply till January 16, 2022.

For admission to PhD Courses at MS University, candidates need to appear for an entrance test. The university will conduct the entrance test for this year on January 22, 2023.

MS University PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have passed Master’s Degree through the Open University system are not eligible.
• Candidates who have secured their Master’s Degree and M.Phil with 55% or its equivalent grade of marks (relaxation of 5% marks to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled under (11+1)/(10+2)+3+2 and 10+3+2+2 pattern of courses of study shall be eligible for Ph.D. program.
• Candidates with NET/SET/JRF/GATE qualifications are exempted from the Qualifying Entrance Examination.
• A pass in the Qualifying Entrance Examination is valid for one year (Two sessions).

MS University PhD Admission 2023: Application Process

• Candidates can apply through Online on the University website. 
• Fill in the online form and pay the application fee of INR 500. 
• Pay the entrance examination fee of INR 150. 
• Upload the required documents. 
• The entrance exam will be conducted online. 

The documents required to be uploaded include: 

• Plus Two Marksheet 
• Degree Mark statements 
• Degree of Provisional Certificate / Diploma 
• Transfer and Conduct Certificate 
• Community Certificate 
• Sports Certificates (if the candidate is an outstanding sports person) 
• Differently-abled Certificate 
• NCC Certificate 
• Ex-servicemen Certificate

MS University PhD Admission 2023: Selection Procedure

1) Candidates will be admitted for Ph.D. programme through a common entrance test for each discipline, followed by an interview. 

2) Date of Interview will be intimated only to the candidates who have passed in the written Examination. 

3) The Interview will be conducted by forming different interview committees 

4) The Interview will be for testing the following five components. Presentation Skill Knowledge on the Infrastructure Required Domain Knowledge Proposed Research New Knowledge to be created Candidates are requested to discuss their research interest / area through a presentation before a Interview Committee. 

5) Entrance Examination will be conducted in the subjects of Master Degree obtained by the candidate.
