MDU B.Tech Counselling 2022 Dates Out; Registration Process Open till October 25

New Delhi: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has released the schedule for B.Tech (First Year) physical counseling, which is being conducted for admission to the B.Tech programme. The online counselling will be held between October 4 and 25, 2022.

MDU Rohtak has invited online applications along with requisite fee of Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 700/- for all reserved Categories for filling up vacant / leftover seats (as per guidelines of HSTES dated) in B.Tech. (First Year) programme for the academic session 2022-23.

The university is conducting the institute level physical counseling for vacant/left over seats for the B.Tech. Program.

Tabulated below is the schedule for submitting online applications and Physical Counselling of the B.Tech programme for the academic session 2022-23.

Candidates will be able to register, and upload requisite documents and pay the application fee by visiting the official website @mud.ac.in, from October 4 - 25, 2022.

The university will conduct a spot counselling schedule without taking into account the reservation. The first spot and second spot counselling will be held on October 25, 2022 at different shifts.

MDU B.Tech Physical Counselling 2022: Documents Required

Candidates must carry the following documents while appearing for the document verification process during the physical counseling.

Rank Card of JEE Mains
12th Mark-sheet or Diploma Certificate
10TH Marksheet
Copy of Aadhar card
Family Id (Parivar Pehchan Patra) for candidates belonging to Haryana
In case of reserved Category Candidates (SC/ BC/ ESM/ FF/ PH/EWS/KM/HGST):-Category Certificate
For SC category: Income certificate issued by competent authority for SC category students for fee relaxation of current financial year.
For BC and TFW category: Proof of Annual income of parents from all sources of current financial year.
For EWS category: Income & Asset Certificate issued by competent authority for EWS category for the year 2022-23.
For HGST category: Certificate from the Principal of the Govt. School of Haryana of which the candidate is topper.
For KM category: Migration Certificate For Kashmiri Migrants Duly Signed By Relief Commission Or Competent Authority.
Original Character Certificate.
Gap year certificate, if any.
Medical certificate in case of divyang.

It should be noted that the first preference for admission in B. Tech. (Bio-Technology) during Counselling will be given to those candidates who have appeared/ registered with their JEE MAIN-2022 and thereafter the preference shall be given to candidates on the basis of merit of qualifying examination with Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subject.

MDU B.Tech Admission 2022: Specialisations

MDU offers B.Tech programmes in various specialisations including Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The candidates, who have already applied for admission in B.Tech Biotechnology, are not required to apply afresh and their old applications pending with the UIET, MDU Rohtak will be considered.
