MGU UG & PG Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 25

New Delhi: Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has begun the application process for the undergraduate and postgraduate level degree courses for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @cap.mgu.ac.in by August 25, 2022. 

MGU offers a myriad of UG and PG Courses in various specialisations under the faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce, Social Sciences & Technology and Applied Sciences, Physical Education, Management Sciences. 

Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG programme can submit their applications till August 25, 2022. The university conducts MGU CAT to grant admissions to some of its PG courses.

The university offers BA, BCA, BSW, BBM, B.Voc, B.Lib.I.Sc, B.Com and LLB at UG Level, whereas MA, M.Sc, MSW, MTTM, MHM, M.Ed and MRS is offered at PG level. 

MGU ug & PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the UG and PG Courses offered by MGU are required to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

• Candidates must have Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualified from a recognized board of education in the relevant specializations. 

Eligibility Criteria for BBA -LLB: 

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognized board of education with at least 45% marks

Eligibility Criteria for LLB: 

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks. 

Eligibility Criteria for MTech:

• Candidates must hold a BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc degree in a relevant stream from any statutory University approved by UGC.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA: 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from any statutory University approved by UGC with a minimum 50% marks

Eligibility Criteria for LLM: 

• Candidates must be an LLB degree holder with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses: 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/ institute. 

MGU UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

Selection Criteria for UG Courses: 

• Admission to all the UG courses will be granted based on the merit as per university norms. 

Selection Process for BBA-LLB 

• Candidate's admission to the BBA-LLB course will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
• A list of selected candidates will be released on the official website, after which the candidates can visit on the date of admission with required documents for final selection. 

Selection Process for LLB & LLM:

• Candidates's admission to the LLB & LLM courses will be based on the MGU CAT entrance exam conducted by the university.

Selection Process for M.Tech: 

• Candidate's selection to the M.Tech programme will be on the basis of the score obtained in GATE or MGU-CAT.

Selection Process for MBA: 

• Candidates' selection to the MBA programme will be based on the scores obtained in CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, GATE, GRE, CMAT exams, or MGU CAT. 

Selection Process for PG Courses: 

• Candidates' admission to the PG courses will be on the basis of score in MGU-CAT followed by an allotment process. 

MGU UG & PG Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of MGU @cap.mgu.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1300 and INR 650 for SC/ ST candidates and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

Step 6: Candidates must note that they should upload the digital copy of the testimonials with the application.
