MH SET 2020 Admit Card to be Released Today (Dec 17) @setexam.unipune.ac.in, Check Details Here


Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will release the admit card for MH SET 2020 exam on December 17. Candidates who have registered for the exam can visit the official website @setexam.unipune.ac.in to download the admit card.

SPPU has scheduled to conduct the MH SET 2020 exam on December 27, 2020. Previously, it was scheduled to be conducted on June 28, 2020. However, it was delayed due to the Covid-19 lockdown in Maharashtra.

Candidates who have applied for the exam will be required to use their login ID and password to download the admit card. All the candidates appearing for the MH SET 2020 exam should bring the admit card along with ID proof such as Aadhar card, Pan Card, or Voter ID at the time of examination. 

The MH SET 2020 exam is conducted to select Assistant Professor for various universities and colleges in Maharashtra. Candidates who have cleared the examination will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor. The exam will be conducted for 32 subjects. To apply for the exam, the candidate should at least have a master’s degree.

This year, UGC has updated the syllabus of most of the subjects. The updated MH SET 2020 syllabus is available on the official UGC website @https://www.ugcnetonline.in/

Other than Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Life Science, Chemical Science, Ocean & Planetary Science, the syllabus of all other subjects of MH SET 2020 has been revised.

The MH SET 2020 exam will consist of 2 papers. Both the papers will have MCQs and each paper will be held in a separate session. There will be no provision of a break between the two sessions.

While paper 1 of MH SET 2020 will be general in nature and deal with teaching/research aptitude, paper 2, with the exception of Mathematical Science, will have 100 compulsory MCQs based on the subject taken by the candidate. Each question of the exam will carry 2 marks.

Meanwhile, in MH SET 2020 Mathematical Science, a candidate will be required to attempt 100 questions either from sections 1 & 3 or from sections 1 & 2.
