MJPRU Exam 2020: Final Year Exams for UG, PG Courses From Aug 27, SC Hearing on Aug 10


Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University has announced that it will be conducting final exams for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Aug 27.

Earlier, MJPRU released an official notification on Thursday, 16 July 2020 stating that final year exams will begin after August 15 abiding by the new guidelines and regulations of UGC.

The exams were previously scheduled in the month of February. However, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, exams were postponed for a later date.

MJPRU has started preparing for the conduct of the exam and will be releasing the examination schedule for final exams after August 10, 2020.

However, some people have filed petitions in the supreme court demanding that the undergraduate and postgraduate final year exams should be cancelled.

Following which, the court has sought an affidavit from the University Grants Commission. The hearing has been adjourned by the court till Aug 10.

The university is waiting for the decision of the court so that they can focus on the preparation for the examinations.

The decision of the supreme court will come on 10 Aug 2020 which will decide the fate of final year students.
