As per the recent updates, MJPRU has decided to follow the recent guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) on conducting final exams before September 30, 2020.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University - Bareilly (MJPRU) released an official notification on Thursday, 16 July 2020 stating that final year exams will begin after August 15 abiding by the regulations of UGC.

This announcement was made soon after UGC drafted new exam guidelines for 2020 that mention completing final year exams by September 30. It states, in case, final year students are unable to attend such exams, the University has to reschedule special tests if feasible once and for all.
Additionally, UGC sent letters explaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to 40 universities on conducting exams amid the pandemic. Among which, many universities have put down such plans as of now.
In this respect, Prof Anil Shukla, MJPRU Vice-Chancellor, MJPRU, will hold a meeting in the following week with the university’s Examination Controller, to set the specific exam schedule and announce dates.

Earlier, Rohilkhand University along with its 548 affiliated colleges began final exams from February. However, due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 in India, remaining exams were momentarily shelved.
As the university has to conduct exams for remaining papers, it made the aforementioned decision. For now, MJPRU will conduct only final year exams as suggested by UGC while remaining papers for other years stand cancelled.
