Mumbai University Backlog Exams 2020: 1st, 2nd Year Exams to be Conducted by Nov 30, Check Details Here


MUMBAI: Mumbai University has permitted its affiliated colleges to conduct the backlog exam for the 1st and 2nd-year students by November 30, 2020.

Mumbai University backlog exams are pending for the academic session of 2019-20. The decision regarding these students was kept on hold since June.

The Colleges have earlier promoted these students to their next classes due to COVID 19 Pandemic. But the university asked the colleges to conduct their backlog exam within 4 months after the offline classes resume.

The pattern has been changed For the Mumbai University Backlog Exam for the First and Second year. Now, these exams will be conducted in the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format.

The Mumbai University has previously conducted online exams for the final year in MCQ and the backlog exam will be conducted in the same way.

The conduction of the backlog exam after the reopen of college is suggested by a committee appointed by the state government.

But there is no clear indication for when the government will allow the colleges and universities to reopen. 

So the Mumbai University decided to complete these backlog examinations within 120 days and they could focus on upcoming regular semester-end exams. 

An official said that their first priority was to complete the exam for the graduating batch. They have completed the exams and announced results for different exams.

Now their next plan is to complete these backlog exams soon. They will conduct those exams in the college level. Their next target will be the semester end exam for this year. 

The colleges which have completed the backlog exam before March 23 will not have to conduct them again.
