Mumbai University Begins Certificate Course in Marathi; Admission Open till July 15

New Delhi: Mumbai University (MU) has organized certification courses in Marathi on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Candidates can apply online for the certification courses by submitting their applications on the official website at mu.ac.in.

The Department of Marathi, Mumbai University, which has begun the certification courses in Marathi, has also made changes in the syllabus for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to the certification course can apply till July 15, 2022. 

This Marathi certificate course of Mumbai University will introduce the updated nuanced syllabus with an emphasis on language skills. Candidates can also take direct admission to the course by visiting the university’s department. 

Referring to the certificate course, the Department of Marathi, MU official notice informed that “In the cosmopolitan city like Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, Marathi is the major language for communication, expression, business, education and transaction”.

“However, due to inadequate knowledge of Marathi language, many people face difficulties in communication in day-to-day life... Hence, this certificate course is an excellent opportunity to learn Marathi for Non-Marathi speaking people”, the circular further reads.

Candidates can submit their applications in offline mode for Marathi Certification Course under Mumbai University Admission 2022 by visiting the University of Mumbai's Marathi Department or one of the two additional locations listed below:

Marathi Department at Ranade Bhavan, 1st Floor, Vidyanagari, KalinaCampus, Santacruz (East), Mumbai University, Mumbai. (Tushar Mandavkar 7774947476), OR Maharashtra College at 246, A. Jehangir Bowman Behram Road, Mumbai- 400008. (Dr. Lina Prabhu - 9833497119).

Mumbai University Marathi Certificate Course 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the application portal of Mumbai University part-time courses at parttimecourses.mu.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself by filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id, etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee as required and submit the application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for future references.
