Mumbai University Exams 2022: Offline exams

As the students will be appearing for the examination after a gap of two years, the circular approved by Vinod Patil, director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation, states that it is conveyed to the principals or heads of autonomous colleges after many students approached the university to seek relief in the upcoming examination session.

Following which, the university urges all affiliated colleges to provide with extra time to students to complete their exam papers as they are appearing for offline exams after two years.

The University has officially stated that some colleges starting exams at 7 AM would push students living in areas such as Palghar to leave their homes at 5 AM. Colleges have been intimated by the University regarding such kinds of issues in terms of fixing the timings for examinations.

In February, the Mumbai University in a circular stated that the Mumbai University Summer 2022 exams will be held offline. All UG exams for commerce, arts, and science session 2 (regular) along with backlogs for the same batches will be conducted offline.

Backlog exams (allowed to keep term) for semesters 1, 3 and 5, and semester 4 exams for regular and backlog students, will be held online.

However, in the first week of March, the university issued another statement confirming that semester 6 exams for traditional (aided and unaided) courses will be held online, whereas those for professional courses will be conducted physically. Several autonomous colleges, however, decided to conduct all exams offline only.
