Mumbai University IDOL Admission 2022 Open for UG & PG Courses; Apply till August 30.

New Delhi: University of Mumbai, Institute of Distance and Open Learning is currently accepting applications for UG and PG programs for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply for admission at old.mu.ac.in till August 30, 2022. 

Mumbai University offers various admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under open and distance learning mode through its IDOL. For some courses, the institute conducts an entrance examination to shortlist candidates for admission seats. 

To apply for Mumbai University IDOL Admission 2022, candidates are required to submit the online application form along with a scanned copy of the signature, mark sheet, certificates, and other required documents at old.mu.ac.in.

Mumbai University IDOL Admission 2022: Eligibility, Selection Process

To apply for BA, BCom, BSc and other UG program admission at Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), candidates are required to have class 12th qualifications from a recognized exam board. To apply for PG programs, a graduation degree in a relevant field is required. 

As per the university, those applicants who are applying for IDOL Courses on the basis of the qualifying exam passed from other than Maharashtra State Board or University are required to get approval from IDOL Eligibility Unit before submitting their application form. 

The selection of applicants will be done based on marks secured in the qualifying exams; Class 12th marks for UG courses and graduation degree marks for PG courses. For admission to first-year MCA & MMS courses, the institute will conduct an entrance examination.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest "IDOL Admission" link and on the "Online Admission for June 2022-May 2023 Session". 

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your name, email address, and other details as required. 

Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload a copy of mentioned documents. 

Step 5: Review your details and submit the application form to complete your admission process.
