Nagpur University has postponed its final year examinations of the pharmacy stream that was to be held today that is 16/10/2020 due to the connectivity issue that was faced in the district.
According to the Director of the Board of Education from Nagpur University, the exams that could not be conducted today will be conducted tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Three exams of the Pharmacy stream have been rescheduled.
This is perhaps, not the first time that RTMNU has postponed exams. Earlier, RTMNU Director of Examination (DoE), Mr Prafulla Sabale, declared that the final year examinations which were going to be held from October 1, 2020, onwards to be postponed as staffs were on a strike. Read More
Meanwhile, due to these network issues the exams of commerce, as well as chemistry, were also delayed. The students faced connectivity issues in the middle of examinations too due to the affected internet connection.

These consequences were faced after Vodafone and Idea network crashed in the whole region of Nagpur on Thursday due to a key site in Pune getting flooded due to heavy rains. People started facing connectivity issues since then.
Nagpur University is located in Maharashtra and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across the streams of science, commerce, and arts.
It comprises 39 Post Graduate Teaching Departments (PGTD), 3 constituent colleges, and 601 affiliated colleges spread across 11 campuses within an overall layout of 318 acres.
