National Education Policy (NEP) to be Implemented by 2022 in Phased Manner, says UP CM Yogi Adityanath


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath stated that the new National Education Policy (NEP - 2020) will be implemented in a phased manner by 2022.

CM Yogi Adityanath, after the inauguration of a centenary celebration in University of Lucknow, addressed the press reporting saying that NEP 2020 is the vision of our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi 

NEP will contribute to the progress of the society proving to be the foundation of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” that symbolizes a self-reliant India.

The CM stated that the new education policy is the vision of the Prime Minister and is to be implemented by 2022.

The NEP comprised of the practical and theoretical facet of knowledge that is important for students. 

The University of Lucknow will set a new exemplar if it proceeds forward with the provisions of the new National Education Policy.

During the celebration of the centenary of the establishment of Lucknow University, Yogi Adityanath congratulated the associated varsity stating that the University has made notable achievements in academics at national as well as international levels. 

The chief minister also mentioned that the University has great alumni that include various distinct dignitaries, industrialists, scientists, principals, administrative officers, and politicians, including our honorable President as well.

He claimed that society can be self-reliant and self-sufficient only if it proceeds ahead of the government.

He stated that if the educational organizations consolidate with the “one district, one product” scheme, then employment will be available to everyone. 

Mr. Adityanath stated that UP has the potential to accomplish the dream of a self-reliant India and make the country a USD 5 trillion economy.

He concluded by saying that to promote the programs, educational organizations will have to be linked with the public and have to be ‘vocal for local’ and said apart from just joining the ‘one district, one product’ scheme, youngsters will have to be updated constantly with the policies of the government.
