NEET 2020 Counselling: Toppers Choose AIIMS, Delhi over MAMC, Check Round 1 Opening & Closing Ranks Here

NEET Counselling 2020 round 1 results declared. Seats at AIIMS Delhi and Maulana Azad Medical College. Candidates can check the opening and closing ranks of round 1 below.

Medical Counseling Committee, MCC announced the result of Round 1 for NEET Counseling 2020 on 6 November 2020. This year, NEET Toppers selected AIIMS Delhi over Maulana Azad Medical College for admission to various MBBS and dental courses. Reporting to allotted institutions began on 6 November and would end on 14 November 2020.

According to reports, after the first round of results, 17,777 students were elected to various government medical colleges across the country. NEET Topper, who had secured the eighth rank, had a seat in AIIMS Delhi but had opted for JIPMER Pondicherry. Similarly, BJ Medical College, Pune was chosen by the 43rd ranking holder.

Meanwhile, the reporting date of NEET 2020 has been extended to 14 November 2020 by the MCC. The last date to be reported to medical institutions after Round 1 was until 12 November 2020.

The Medical Counseling Committee also issued an important notice to AIIMS candidates. Candidates who have been allotted to the AIIMS Institutes in Guwahati, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu will have to report to AIIMS Bhubaneshwar, PGI Chandigarh and AIIMS Rishikesh.
