NEET 2020: Qualified Candidates To Prefer AIIMS Bhubaneswar After AIIMS Delhi

Candidates qualifying the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), prefer AIIMS Bhubaneswar as their second choice after AIIMS Delhi for admission in the MBBS course.

The cut-off rank after Round 1 of NEET Counseling 2020  under the general category for AIIMS Delhi is 51, whereas the cut-off rank for AIIMS Bhubaneswar is 569.

The cut-off ranks under the general category for AIIMS are provided in the below tabulation.

The NEET 2020 Round 1 counselling for all 19 AIIMS, for MBBS/BDS under the 15 percent AIQ (All India Quota) has been completed on November 9, 2020.

The students who were allotted seats should be reporting to the respective institutes for the admission process. The last date to report to the institute is November 16, 2020.

The official statement released by the institution stated, "The students while choosing any AIIMS for admission in the MBBS course consider various issues. Academic environment including hospital services used to be a major attraction."

The Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar Gitanjali Batmanabane has complimented all faculty members and students who established an excellent academic environment.

Gitanjali stated that the academic environment is created over the years which is now getting recognized by the students.

The director also remarked that several students who have passed out of MBBS got admitted into various recognized organizations of National importance like JIPMER, PGIMER, and AIIMS, through the All India Entrance Examination for PG course.

The Director stated that two of their students have also topped the 2018 and 2019 years PG entrance exams of AIIMS Delhi and many besides that have secured remarkable rankings.
