NEET Counselling 2022: BFUHS Announces Schedule For Mop Up and Stray Vacancy Rounds

New Delhi: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the schedule and details for Admission into vacant seats of MBBS/BDS course under NEET UG-2022 through Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round.

For admission to open seats in the MBBS and BDS programs, the fresh online applications from NEET UG-2022 qualified candidates are being accepted from December 3 to 9, 2022 along with registration fees of Rs. 5900 (Rs. 2950 for SC candidates) plus GST. The online stray vacancy round will take place on December 19, 2022.

Schedule of MopUp Round

It should be noted that the Persons with Disability-PWD (Category Code 16)-Shall produce Disability certificate(as per prospectus Page No. 47) duly issued by the Designated Centre(s) as informed by DGHS, New Delhi to the Principal at the time of reporting. 

Eligibility for MopUp Round of Counseling

• The applicants who must reapply for the MopUp Round of counselling (these candidates are required to pay the registration fee and security amount at the time of submitting their willingness in accordance with the rules).
  • Candidates who have resigned or given up their assigned place in the 1st line Counseling process with a free exit up until November 15, 2022, and who do not currently have a seat in either Round I or Round II.
  • Candidates can reapply for MopUp Round if they have not yet taken the assigned seat (fresh/upgraded) in Round-II counselling.

• Candidates for the MopUp Round of counselling do not need to reapply.

• The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Round I and II need not to register again. However, they will have to submit Willingness along with requisite amount (equivalent to penalty) and will have to submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule.
• The candidates who are not eligible for MopUp Round of counseling
• The candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of Round I and Round II.

• Fee to be deposited by the candidates applying afresh for MopUp Round:

• For registration the candidate has to apply online and needs to deposit a fee @Rs. 5900/- (2950/- for SC) including GST @18% for through online payment gateway of University.

For willingness the following security amount is to be deposited through online payment gateway of University:

Any applicant who intends to withdraw or change their willingness from Govt. Colleges only to Private & Govt. Colleges:

• The candidate must make the balance of the security deposit, which is. Rs 90000 using the university's online payment gateway:

• It should be noted that the candidates who have already registered, are eligible for the Mop up round, and have already paid the security amount in accordance with their preferences do not need to pay again.

Stray Vacancy Round Online 

Following the MopUp Round, unfilled seats will be allocated in the Stray Vacancy Round based on the candidates' selections and preferences. The outcome of the stray vacancy will be announced on December 19, 2022, and candidates will report to the relevant institution they were assigned to by December 20, 2022, for a medical exam and joining.

Who is Eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round?

All the Registered Candidates except for the following categories are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round: 

1. a) Candidates who joined the allotted seat in Round II of AIQ/ State Quota.
2. b) Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC / State.
3. c) Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State and NOT REPORTED
4. d) Candidates joined a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State.
5. e) Candidates who have not registered in any of Previous 3 Rounds.
6. f) Candidate joined/holding a seat in State Quota.

It should be noted that all applicants have been advised there won't be another round of registration or selection to fill any remaining openings. The Stray Vacancy round will process the options the candidate selected in the Mop-Up round. 

It is important to note that candidates who are interested in participating in the stray vacancy round must submit their choices and preferences during the mop up phase.
