NIT Meghalaya PG Admission 2022 Open; Last date to Apply is July 31

New Delhi: NIT Meghalaya has begun the application process for admission to PG courses for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website nitm.ac.in 

NIT Meghalaya is inviting applications for admission to M.Tech and M.Sc programmes at Institution Mode. They offer 2-Year M.Tech in CSE, M.Tech in Fluids and Thermal Engineering, M.Tech in Power and Energy Systems, M.Tech in Structural Engineering, and M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems. In M.Sc programmes, they offer 2-Year M.Sc. in Chemistry, M.Sc. in Mathematics, and M.Sc. in Physics. 

Students who have not received their Bachelor’s results are also eligible to apply for the courses at NIT Meghalaya. However, they need to produce the certificates or mark sheets at the time of admission. 

Admission to NIT Meghalaya for the academic year has begun on July 1, 2022. Candidates can apply for the programmes online till July 31, 2022.

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for M.Tech and M.Sc courses here: 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech: 

Candidates must have B.E./BTech in the relevant branch as per CCMT/GATE, with 60% or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) for general and other backward candidates, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (out of 10) for SC and ST candidates. Mathematics is compulsory at the 10+2 level.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc: 

Candidates must have Honours/Major in B.Sc. in relevant subject with 60% or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in Honours/Major in B.Sc. for general and other backward candidates, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (out of 10) for SC and ST candidates. Mathematics is compulsory at 10+2 level and must be one of the subsidiary subjects in B.Sc.

Through Institute Mode: The leftover seats after CCMT 2022 admission are to be filled up through Institute mode. The merit list will be based on the valid GATE score.

Through Institute Mode: The leftover seats after CCMN 2022 admission are to be filled up through Institute mode. The merit list will be based on the weighted marks of 70% on B.Sc. Honours/Major (for result awaited candidate, marks will be considered up to 5th semester/2nd Year) and 30% on core Science subjects of class 12 exam.

NIT Meghalaya PG Admission: How to Apply Online?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NIT Meghalaya at nitm.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of 2000 INR and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
