New Delhi: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya is inviting applications for admission to its PhD programme for the spring semester session 2023. Interested candidates can apply online till November 22, 2022.

NIT Meghalaya offers full-time & Part-time PhD courses in Physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science, and civil engineering. Interested students can apply at their official portal nitm.ac.in.

To apply for NIT Meghalaya Admission 2023, for a full-time PhD, the applicant must have a Master's Degree in the relevant field with a minimum 60% score or equivalent CGPA Candidates with B.E./ B. Tech. with an aggregate of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA with a valid GATE score will also be eligible. 

The applicant should be less than 35 years of age at the time of admission. The part-time candidates must have a PG degree or BE/ BTech degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% with at least five years of experience. The candidate must be at most 58 years of age at admission.

For selection, the candidates will be required to sit for a written test and/or interview in respect of his/ her discipline to be conducted by the concerned Department.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on “Academic” and select “Admission” 

Step 3: Scroll down to “PhD admission” and click on the “PhD Programme Autumn Semester, 2023”. 

Step 4: Click on the mentioned link & select the required program, Fill in the accurate details with the required documents, and pay the application fee.

Step 5: Submit the application form to complete the NIT Meghalaya PhD Admission 2023-24 process.
