NLSIU Bengaluru Launches Online and Hybrid Course on AI & Human Rights; Details Here


New Delhi: In support of the German Consulate in Bangalore, the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru has recently launched an online and hybrid diploma programme in artificial intelligence and human rights for interested students.

As per NLSIU Bengaluru, the online certificate course in Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights will be taught during the months of December 2022 and January 2023 to all interested and eligible participants. Beginning on December 3, 222, classes will be held online during the first two weeks of December 2022.

The course will be delivered using live and recorded online and in-person lectures, carefully selected readings, and videos of experts in the relevant subjects. It will give participants a thorough understanding of the fields of artificial intelligence and human rights, as well as the interactions and conflicts between them in India.

In addition to this, It will give participants tools and techniques for considering and resolving problems. The course will be divided into three modules: Module 1 will introduce artificial intelligence and human rights; Module 2 will focus on conflicts, and Module 3 will be a workshop where students will craft solutions.

"In order to make it convenient for working adults to attend, online programmes should ideally be arranged on weekends and in the evenings. Participants must attend a two-day session in person on January 7-8, 2023", reads the official statement.

Talking about the course fee, the university claimed that there will be no fees for this course. Please be aware that the admission cell will only shortlist applicants for participation in this course from those who have submitted an application for it through the official university website.
