NMIMS Business School PhD admission is based on candidates' performance in the admission test (conducted by NMIMS) i.e., CSIR NET/ GATE/ GPAT or SET followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. The written exam consists of two sections including NMIMS Written Research Ability Test and Critique a Research Manuscript (subject-specific written test). For admissions to PhD program, a candidate needs to follow certain eligibility norms as follows:

• For Management, Engineering and Technology Management, Law, Chemistry, candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks.
• For Pharmaceutical Sciences, BPharm with 55% aggregate marks + at least 2 years of work experience in a relevant discipline is required.
• For Biological Sciences, a BSc in chemical sciences/ biochemistry/ BPharm from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required.
