NMIMS Collaborates with German University for Research, Internships & Short Study Programs


New Delhi: Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) of NMIMS has joined hands with HTWG Konstanz, University of Applied Sciences, Germany for research, internships, study programs and faculty exchange activities.

As per Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), the agreement between the two institutions aims to provide various opportunities for studies in the field of research and offer short study programmes to interested candidates.

Under this collaboration, the MPSTME and HTWG Konstanz, University of Applied Sciences will offer faculty exchange programs for activities like lectures, training, joint supervision of industry projects, etc. The institutions will also offer mutually beneficial academic programs.

Informing about the initiative, Professor Sabine Rein, HTWG Konstanz, "We are glad that NMIMS has shown intent on cooperation and exchange of students and faculty with us. Founded in the 1990s, we provide education in engineering, law, and a number of other streams. 

“We have faculty members with long-standing experience in the industry. We are pleased to sign this MoU which will go a long way in strengthening ties which will benefit students, faculty, and institutions” he added. 

Amrishbhai Patel, Chancellor of NMIMS added that the institute has taken several initiatives in the last four decades to improve the quality of education and offer various academic opportunities to students. With this, it has become one of the top five private institutes in India. 

With this collaboration with HTWG Konstanz, the institute will provide students and faculty members access to a global curriculum and exposure to faculty from different countries. This initiative will prepare students for various career opportunities and create future engineers

“We are confident that this partnership with HTWG Konstanz, University of Applied Sciences, Germany, will be beneficial to both the institutions” he added. The agreement was signed by Amrishbhai Patel, Chancellor, NMIMS, and Professor Sabine Rein, President, HTWG Konstanz.
