New Delhi: Noida International University (NIU) has begun the application process for the Doctoral level degree course (PhD) for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://niu.edu.in/. 

Noida International University (NIU) offers doctoral level PhD courses in various specializations. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programmes can submit their applications till January 30, 2023.

Admission to the PhD programme will be made based on merit obtained in the entrance test and interview conducted by the university on February 21, 2023.

NIU PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• For admission to Ph.D. courses, candidates must have obtained a minimum 55% marks in Masters with relevant subjects from a recognized university/ institute. 
• The eligible candidates will be called for an entrance test on the above notified date and time. 
• Subsequently, a personal interaction with the expert panel will be held to judge the research aptitude in the candidate and also to consider the applicant's proposed research area(s).
• Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE are exempted from written test and directly qualify for the interview. 

NIU PhD Admission 2023: Selection Process

Candidate's selection to the PhD programme will be done considering the following parameters: 

• The Entrance test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50%. 
• Final merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in the entrance test (70 % out of 100 marks of entrance test and 30 % marks to the interview obtained (as per latest UGC regulations).
• Relaxation in entrance examination and merit list for qualifying the entrance examination would be given to the candidates (as per latest UGC regulations). 
• The interview will be based on allotment of marks as per the following criteria.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form.
