The Odisha State Government has announced the Exam Dates for OJEE 2020. The Exam is scheduled to be conducted from October 12, 2020, onwards. Previously OJEE 2020 had been postponed multiple times owing to the prevailing circumstances of COVID-19.
Earlier OJEE was scheduled to be held from September 6 to September 15. The revised exam time table would now be released soon by the exam authorities on the official website ojee.nic.in.
Under normal situations, OJEE is conducted after the JEE Main exams are over. Although JEE Main 2020 has already concluded as of September 6, there has been no announcement regarding the OJEE 2020 Exam Dates.
Because of COVID-19, the OJEE authorities have decided to open three online centers outside the state. As of 2014, there were no OJEE Exam Centers outside the state. The three exam centers include Ranchi (Jharkhand), Patna (Bihar) and Kolkata (West Bengal).

The authorities have also increased the number of exam centers in Odisha. Generally, students had to travel to new cities for the exam, however, keeping in mind the COVID-19 situations the authorities have added six new centers in the state. These include Balangir, Paralakhemundi (Gajapati), Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Nayagarh and Phulbani (Kandhamal). With this, there are 21 OJEE Exam Centers in Odisha. Read More.
OJEE is conducted every year for admissions to undergraduate/postgraduate professional courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA, MPharm and BPharm in the state. The government would be holding OJEE as a computer-based test this year however there won’t be a second OJEE test.
The OJEE authorities have however decided to hold a special OJEE for BTech admissions. This is for the students who failed to appear for JEE Main this year.
