OP Jindal Global University Introduces 7 New Programs for Admission 2021

O.P. Jindal Global University has introduced seven new academic programmes for the 2021 session admissions. Additionally, it has also inaugurated its 10th school i.e. Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JPSC).

PG Diploma in Data Journalism by O. P. Jindal Global University, included in the seven new programmes, has been launched for the first time in India. This university is India’s first ranked private institute and also an ‘Institute of Eminence (IoE)’.

The University is going to launch the following new programmes for 2021 admissions:

BBA (Honours in Financial Markets)
BBA (Honours in Family Business)
BBA (Honours in Business Analytics)
BFA (Honours in Fine Arts)
BA (Honours in Finance and Entrepreneurship)
BA (Honours in Psychology)
PG Diploma in Data Journalism

Moreover, the Jindal School of Arts & Architecture (JSAA) will now have two new curriculum paths for the B.Des. programme. They have planned to add ‘Urban Planning’ and ‘Community Planning’ to their existing specialisation in ‘Interior Designing’.

Programme	Details
BA (Honours in Psychology)	This will provide a world-class interdisciplinary education in psychological experimentation, theory, and practice. The research-active faculty will employ goal-based and experimental learning strategies on the basis of course curricula informed by the latest data and theories across disciplines of Psychology.
BA (Honours in Finance and Entrepreneurship)	It is an innovative programme that involves entrepreneurial skills and creative abilities with practical knowledge of technology and focused training in finance. The programme provides hands-on training to help students create new services and products, particularly around digital finance.
BFA (Honours in Fine Arts)	Placed within Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, this program will enable students to study visual art and liberal arts courses that bring into perspective economic, cultural, and social elements. The students will get opportunities to work alongside artists who have masters forms of visual arts including pottery, printmaking, sculpture, painting, and more. The students receive personal guidance from their instructors and also enjoy the freedom to independently work in the studio.
BBA (Honours in Family Business)	This programme is made specifically aiming for the group of students who look forward to joining their family business and focuses to impart relevant practical skills and conceptual knowledge for professional success in family businesses.
BBA (Honours in Business Analytics)	This course is ideal for students who wish to pursue careers that leverage Analytics in a variety of industries and functions. The graduates from this programme will be capable professionals of ascertaining business problems that require the application of Data Analytics.
BBA (Honours in Financial Markets)	This programme aims to make students proficient in using software tools, processes, and best practices of financial markets. They will learn various techniques to analyze financial data and draw meaningful inferences.
PG Diploma in Data Journalism	Jindal School of Banking & Finance and the Jindal School of Journalism & Communication have linked up to offer India’s first PG Diploma in Data & Journalism. It is the latest example to portray how knowledge and best practices freely transcend professional and disciplinary boundaries.

The Ministry of Education has formally conferred JGU with the title of ‘Institute of Eminence (IoU)’ this year. JGU was positioned this year in all the three QS World University Rankings on all three levels - Asia Rankings, BRICS Ranking, and the World Rankings.

According to the latest QS University Rankings, JGU is in first place in the private universities of India and in the top 150 in the latest QS World Young University Rankings.
