Osmania University Job Fair 2022: 16000 Students Received Offers from 286 Companies

New Delhi: Osmania University, Hyderabad has successfully organised a mega job fair on October 15 and 16, 2022 on campus ground. The university concluded the job fair with a huge success rate and witnessed over 286 recruiters and participation from 55,000 candidates.

As per Osmania University, the job fair was organised by the university with the aim to offer career opportunities to students. Out of the total participants, 16,000 students were issued offer letters and more confirmations are yet to come as the fair advances to the next stage.

Informing about the Osmania University Job Fair 2022, the university officials stated that the fair was organised by the Human Capital Development Centre and was held at Arts College and the University College of Engineering. The event was held for two days, on October 15 and 16, 2022.

To ensure the smooth conduction of the job fair, the officials made several security arrangements and offered shuttle services to ferry candidates from Tarnaka to the NCC gate. Students joined the events from different parts of Hyderabad as well as from neighboring states.

The fair was managed by the HCDC Director, Professor K Stevenson and his team Professor A Patrick, Professor V Uma Maheshwar, P Muralidhar Reddy and supporting staff of HCDC which ensured the smooth conduct of the event.

The staff organised the event and provided various facilities such as infrastructure, volunteers and logistics support among others. The campus was decorated with a festive look with banners and flexes welcoming the HR of various companies and job seekers.

To participate in the event, candidates had to fill out a form and choose the recruiter of their choice from the given list. Many students from colleges like the University College for Women, Nizam College, and College of Engineering were also present at the fair to guide the recruiters.
