New Delhi: Odisha University of Agricultural and Technology (OUAT) has begun the application process for the PhD programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @ouat.nic.in. 

OUAT, Bhubaneswar offers various Doctoral Programmes in the College of Basic Science & Humanities. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till November 21, 2022. 

Admission to the Ph.D. program at OUAT Bhubaneswar will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the university followed by a viva.

• PhD programmes are offered in the fields of Basic Science, Mathematics, and Microbiology. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject and must qualify in the entrance test conducted for the PH.D. courses. 

OUAT Bhubaneswar PhD Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection for admission into different PhD programmes will be based on the merit of the candidates. 
• There will be separate Merit lists for each subject of Doctoral Programmes. 
• The Merit list of the candidates shall be drawn up on the basis of the total score in Entrance Examination. 
• In case of a tie of entrance marks, it will be resolved by taking into account the percentage of marks secured in qualifying examination. 
• Admission into Ph.D. courses will be conducted centrally by the Admission Board as per the programme finalized by the academic council.

OUAT Bhubaneswar PhD Admission 2023: How to Apply? 

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of OUAT Bhubaneswar @ouat.nic.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

OUAT Bhubaneswar PhD Admission 2023: Exam Details 

All the registered candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination in the College of Basic Science and Humanities, O.U.A.T on December 09, 2022 at 11.00am to 1.00pm. 

The examination will be of 2 hours duration for 200 marks. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choice covering the course taught at Master’s Level. For every correctly answered question 2 marks will be awarded.
