Panjab University Cancels PUCET 2020; Offer Admissions on Merit Basis, Register by Aug 09


According to media reports, the Panjab University cancelled the Panjab University Admission Test, also known as PUCET 2020, due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19.

PUCET is organized for admission to the Panjab University undergraduate programs offered by the university-affiliated courses.

Admissions are offered to Graduate and Postgraduate Programs, Integrated, Executive, Diploma, PG Diploma, Certificate and Research Level Courses.

Media reports suggest that students applying for admissions will be admitted to the various programs on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in the qualifying examinations. 

Candidates can register for the merit-based admissions process until August 09, 2020.

Candidates seeking admissions to the undergraduate programmes of Panjab University are required to submit the online applications without fail.

In order to register candidates, the e-mail ID and other details must be entered in the link.

Applicants may log in to complete the online application form after the registration process has been completed.

Students are also required to upload the required documents, including academic certificates, booking documents, etc.

Application Fee

Students applying for undergraduate programs must also submit an online application fee along with the application form.

Students in the General / OBC category are required to submit an online application fee of INR 2175, whereas students in the SC / ST category are required to submit an application fee of INR 1088.

Applicants may submit an online application fee through a variety of payment methods, including the E-wallet Net Banking Credit / Debit Card options provided in the application form.
