New Delhi: Panjab University has released the exam day guidelines for the online examinations that are scheduled to commence from January 24, 2022. The online exams will be conducted by the varsity for all the regular, re-appear, USOL, private, additional and deficient subject students.
Panjab University has advised its regular students to contact their department, regional center or college in order to know their roll numbers. The roll number of USOL/ private / reappear/ additional/ deficient subjects’ candidates is available on the Panjab University website.
According to the PU exam schedule 2022, the online exams for the first, third, fifth, seventh and ninth semesters of all the Panjab University courses will begin from January 24.
Panjab University Online Exam Instructions
The varsity has planned to conduct the online exams in two shifts; i.e. In the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon shift from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
As the online exam is scheduled to commence from Monday, January 24, the varsity has issued a set of exam-day instructions, which should be strictly followed by all the students appearing for the online exams.
- Students can get access to the question papers from the Punjab University website @online.puexam.in, 20 minutes prior to the start of the respective examinations.
- Students should note that they should download the question paper and start their exams as it will not be provided to them through any other means.
- All the undergraduate students who are going to sit for PU online exams are required to use 20 A4 size sheets. Whereas the postgraduate students can use 24 A4 size sheets.
- Students must use only one side of the sheet to write the answers. In case any student faces any problem or discrepancy while downloading the exam question paper, they can call the helpline numbers provided by their institute, said one of the university's officials, Bhushan.
- Students of colleges, university departments and regional centres must note that they should submit the exam answer sheets online only by either mailing the same to the email ID or website provided by the respective institute.
- Within 60 minutes of the completion of the answer paper, the regular students must immediately submit their answer sheet.
- While the USOL, private, re-appear, additional and deficient subjects students are required to upload their answer sheets only at the university’s examination portal.
