PGIMER Chandigarh to Conduct Offline PGIMER 2020 MD/MS Counselling on July 24


PGIMER Chandigarh is all set to conduct the third round of PGIMER counselling in offline mode. The counselling is scheduled on July 24, 2020, at 11 AM.

The vacant seats for the third round of subsequent counselling have been released by PGIMER Chandigarh on the official website pgimer.edu.in.

Moreover, In a public notice, it has been stated regarding the third round of allotments which needs to be essentially followed by the aspirants.

Categories of the Candidates involved in Counselling Session:

  • Candidates who secured a minimum percentile in their respective category - Gen/Sponsored - 55 and PwBD/RA/SC/ ST/OBC - 50 in the entrance exam held on June 14, 2020, are eligible to appear for offline counselling. 
  • Through the third round of counselling, admission will be granted to 181 Doctors of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) seats.

Essential Prerequisites for the Counselling Session:

Candidates can go through the below-mentioned documents which need to be carried along with at the offline PGIMER counselling venue. For a safer side, it is advised to carry a set of self-attested photocopies.

  • 10+2 certificates
  • MBBS degree certificate
  • Internship certificate
  • MCI Registration
  • Caste certificate
  • Any other asked government document (if relevant)

Offline PGIMER 2020 Counselling Recommendations:

  • Applicant’s personal appearance is essential at the counselling venue.
  • Candidates from states other than Chandigarh Tricity should either have to return within 72 hours to avoid 14 days quarantine or should be prepared to join the course.
  • Aspirants have to wear a face mask to follow the norms of social distancing.
  • Candidates are advised not to accompany more than one person in the counselling hall.
  • Aspirants whose seats will be allotted should deposit the requisite fee of Rs. 2,485.
  • Such aspirants are required to join the allotted institutes till July 28, 2020, by 1 PM.
