New Delhi: Savitribai Phule Pune University, also known as UniPune will conduct the entrance exam for Pune University PhD Admissions 2022 for all registered candidates on November 06, 2022. The admit card for the same will be released at least a week before the exam date at unipune.ac.in.
As per UniPune (SPPU), the university will shortlist candidates for PhD program admission seats based on their overall academic profile and marks secured in the qualifying entrance examinations. Those who have a valid score in PET, UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, or SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.
Earlier, the university opened the UniPune Admission 2022 window for applicants who have completed their MPhil coursework with at least 55% marks or equivalent grades or have completed their master’s degree in the required discipline. The last date to apply for admissions was October 12, 2022.

Pune University Ph.D. Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Pune University Ph.D. Course admission process for the academic session 2022-23, candidates are required to meet the below mentioned eligibility qualifications:
- Applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks.
- Applicants who have completed their MPhil course work with at least 55% aggregate in aggregate or its equivalent grade are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D. Admission 2022.
- Applicants must have a valid score in the PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by SPPU.
- Selection of applicants will be done based on their overall academic profile and marks secured in PhD Entrance Exam 2022.
- Candidates who have appeared for UGC NET (including JRF)/ CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE can also apply for the admission process.
