Rajasthan LEEP 2020: Admission Process to Commence from Nov 18, Check Details Here

Rajasthan Technical University will begin LEEP admission from November 18, 2020, without any entrance exam. 

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota conducts entrance tests every year for the admission in lateral engineering programs (LEEP) offered in the university. But due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the university has decided not to conduct any entrance test this year. The university will be giving out applications for Rajasthan LEEP admission from November 18, 2020.

Candidates will be offered admission as per the merit secured in the qualifying examination.

Rajasthan LEEP 2020: How to Apply?

Candidates can follow the below steps for applying into LEEP 2020 admissions.

Step 1: Visit the official website www.rtu.ac.in

Step 2: Scroll to the admission section in the homepage

Step 3: Fill in the application form for LEEP 2020

Step 4: Upload the scanned documents as required

Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 1200 via Net Banking and submit the application

Step 6: Download the form and print it.

Rajasthan LEEP 2020: Eligibility Criteria

The university will be selecting the candidates from below conditions:

• Candidates need to secure a minimum 45% of aggregate marks in their +2-board examination. (For Quota students the bar is set as 40%)
• Candidates can only apply for the diploma program from an AICTE approved institution.
• Candidates should have passed from Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur/
• Candidates must have passed in B.SC with Mathematics from any university located in Rajasthan with UGC affiliation.

Rajasthan LEEP 2020: Reservation Policy

The Government of Rajasthan has a reservation policy for all the public institutions for the admission process. The state government allotted 45% seats to ST quota students.

Rajasthan Technical University allots seats after releasing the merit list for admission process. The seats are allotted by a computer programme per the choices given by the candidates.

The participating institutes will be receiving the allotment list as well for verification of candidates’ documents.

Once the seat is allotted the candidate needs to deposit the admission fees in order to reserve the seat in that college.

About Rajasthan Technical University (RTU)

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) was established in 2006. The university offers B.Tech, B.Arch and BHMCT courses at UG level and M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, MAM, MTM and MCA courses at the postgraduate level. The university also offers a Ph.D. program in various specializations at the Doctorate level. 

The university conducts Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) for admission to BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch programs. JEE Main qualified candidates will be preferred for the REAP process. Admission to the BHMCT program is completely merit-based.
