Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bangalore has postponed the AYUSH UG Examination 2021 for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS final year students for which the time table will be released by the varsity in due course.
Moreover, RGUHS Bangalore has clarified that BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS examinations for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students will be conducted as per the released schedule starting from February 23, 2021.
Earlier, RGUHS had directed its affiliated medical colleges to resume regular classes from December 01, 2020, after a gap of 9 months. These medical colleges were advised to follow strict precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus across Karnataka.
Dr. K Sudhakar, Karnataka Health Minister had previously asked all dental, AYUSH, medical, paramedical, pharmacy, and nursing colleges to strictly adhere to Karnataka State Government issued COVID-19 guidelines regarding the precautionary measures.

On December 10, 2020, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bangalore has released the AYUSH UG Theory Examination 2021 schedule on its official website at rguhs.ac.in.

RGUHS Bangalore’s BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BNYS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students are required to pay the following examination fees:
- Examination Application Form Fee: INR 200
- Mark Sheet Fee: INR 300
- BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BNYS: INR 300 per paper
On November 24, 2020, the Union Health Ministry had directed all States and Union Territories to follow mandatory steps for reopening of medical and dental colleges.
UGC suggested that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines with respect to social distancing and prevention of the spread of coronavirus will be formed scrupulously by all the colleges.
Moreover, National Medical Commission had advised incorporating a sufficient number of non-Covid beds in medical college hospitals to facilitate undergraduate medical training
