RPVT Exam 2020 Rescheduled, Now Slated to begin from September 30


Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) recently announced of postponing Rajasthan Pre-University Veterinary Test (RPVT) exam dates for 2020. 

As per the official notification released by RAJUVAS on 17 July 2020, given the precarious situation in view of COVID-19 pandemic, the university has declared to conduct the much-awaited (RPVT) 2020 on 20 September, this year.

In view of the current COVID-19 crisis and a drastic rise in positive cases each day, the university took to this decision. Earlier, the university had scheduled to conduct the exam on 9 August 2020.

This year, RPVT online registrations were closed by June 26 and students are expected to receive admit cards by the first week of September. 

Note for students: Admit cards will be available online 15 days prior to the examination date. Students have to download it from the official website of RAJUVAS. Admit cards will not be sent by post to applicants.

RPVT Exam 2020: Changes to Observe Amid COVID-19

RPVT 2020 is scheduled to be conducted as an offline exam across all exam centres of Rajasthan. However, RAJUVAS is expected to issue new guidelines for conducting exams amid the pandemic situation. Some of the notable changes to bank on, this year are:

  • Maintain controlled and steady movement at the exam venue
  • No crowding at the entrance of examination centres
  • Examinees to keep wearing masks all the time
  • Attendees have to frequently sanitise hands
  • Candidates examined as unwell to be seated in isolation
  • No water dispensers will be furnished, candidates will have to carry water bottles
  • Seating arrangements to be made keeping a distance of six feet
