SEED 2022: Registration Ends on Jan 24 @sid.edu.in; Check Eligibility, Application Form, Exam Date Here

New Delhi: Symbiosis Institute of Design has officially started the application process for Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2022 on its official website, sid.edu.in. The last date to register is January 24, 2022.

SEED 2022 is conducted for admission in the B.Des programme offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) and Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture, and Design (SSPAD). This year, the SID admission cycle for the academic year 2022-23 has started early. The institute has notified that the SEED 2022 registration window was activated from October 25, 2021, onwards. 

SID has planned to conduct the SEED exam 2022 on February 13, 2022, for which the results will be released on February 23, 2022. All the interested candidates can visit the official SID website and apply online by filling the application form till January 24, 2022.

SEED 2022: How to Apply Online? 

Interested candidates can go through the steps below to apply online for the SEED 2022:

Step 1: Visit the official SID website, sid.edu.in

Step 2: Navigate to the registration link and register yourself by entering all the details as asked. You'll receive an auto-generated ID and password. 

Step 3: Now, on the SSPAD website, search for the registration link and enter your credentials. 

Step 4: Fill in the SEED Exam 2022 application form and upload all the necessary documents. 

Step 5: Now, verify all the details, pay the desired application fee through DD or online mode and submit the application form successfully. 

SEED 2022: Application Fee 

Once the SEED Exam 2022 is filled, the candidates will have to pay a total of INR 2950/ in total which includes INR 1950/- for SEED & INR 1000/- for SID application fee. Only after the successful payment, the SEED 2022 registration process is completed.

What after SEED Exam 2022 Registration? 

Candidates who will apply for the SEED Exam 2022 within the stipulated duration will be eligible to download the SEED Admit Card 2022 by logging in to their respective accounts. SEED 2022 Admit Card will be activated from January 31 to February 13, 2022.

About SEED 2022

Every year, the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) conducts Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) for admission to candidates in its Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme in various specializations like Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication. 

This year, the institute has decided to conduct the SEED 2022 through online mode for a duration of 2.5 hours. According to the SEED Exam Pattern 2022, this year, the exam paper will consist of 150 objective type MCQs. All the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in Portfolio Review, PRPI task, and Personal Interaction rounds in order to get selected for B.Des admissions.
