SHUATS UG & PG Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is July 20

New Delhi: Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences (SHUATS) has begun the application process for various UG and PG courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @shuats.edu.in by July 20, 2022. 

SHUATS offers various UG, PG, Diploma and Doctoral Programmes in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to these programmes can submit their applications till July 20, 2022.

SHUATS UG & PG Admission 2022: Important Dates

Candidate's admission to various Diploma, UG and PG courses are required to appear in an entrance exam followed by a personal interview in order to get shortlisted for admission in the University.

A separate merit list will be prepared for each category (Christian & general) based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test for the purpose of admission.

SHUATS UG & PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the UG and PG courses must meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 with PCB/PCM/PCMB.
• Candidates must have a valid score in the entrance test conducted by the institute. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses: 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university or institute. 
• Candidates must also have a valid score in the entrance exam.

SHUATS UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's admission to the UG and PG courses is strictly based on the merit rank obtained by the candidates in SOETAP (SHUATS Online Entrance Test for Agriculture & Pharmacy) followed by merit-based counselling
• However, there are few programs that the admission is to be conducted through Direct Interview, which will be held on the scheduled date followed up with registration and admission by depositing the fees on the same day.

SHUATS UG & PG Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of SHUATS @shuats.edu.in. 
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1200 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
