SIBM Pune Concludes Summer Placements; Highest Stipend is 4 Lakh

New Delhi: Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune has successfully concluded the summer placements for the batch of 2022-24, wherein the incumbent Placement Team of SIBM Pune recorded outstanding performance in this year’s Summer Internship Recruitment Process (SIRP). 

Speaking about the summer placements, Vallabh Agarwal, Student Coordinator of the Placement Advisory Team at SIBM Pune, said that the placement advisory team makes painstaking measures to ensure that the greatest internship opportunities are provided to students. 

Consequently, their efforts are visible in the roles that are given in addition to the improved average stipend and number of new organisations onboarded.

SIBM Pune Summer Placements 2022: Highlights 

The summer internships are a vital component of the MBA program. Tabulated below is the highlights of SIBM Pune Summer Placements 2022-24. 

Stating essential statistics, Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Director of SIBM Pune said that this year, over 60 firms participated in the summer placements. 

The summer internship process concluded with a maximum stipend of Rs. 4 lakhs for two months, a median stipend of Rs. 3.1 lakhs for two months, an average stipend of Rs. 2.91 lakhs for two months, and above 2.5 lakhs for two months for 71% of the students, he said. 

Raman said that twenty or more new recruiters participated in the summer placement process at SIBM Pune, while prestigious legacy recruiters retained their relationship with the institution. Due to the shifting dynamics of the corporate world at the time, there were also plenty of product management and consulting-based positions available.

Ashwani Bansal, the student president of SIBM Pune, expressed his immense gratitude towards the recruiters for continuing to exhibit their unwavering faith in the students of SIBM and the hard work of the Placement Advisory Team. 

In order to maintain reaching new heights, Ashwani said that they have no doubt that the Advisory team will keep working for a better future for the institution for years to come.
