TCS, University of Kashmir Collaborate to offer Education, Skilling and Entrepreneurship Program: Read Details Here


New Delhi: The University of Kashmir has recently collaborated with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to offer education, skilling, and entrepreneurship programs to students. 

As per the University of Kashmir, the collaboration aims to improve the overall employability skills of students. The step to join hands with TCS for academic partnership is taken under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the university. 

Following the partnership between KU and TCS, students of Kashmir University and its affiliated colleges will be provided with training in the digital economy domain under the Youth Employment Program. 

The training program will include various sessions that will teach English communication, corporate etiquette, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, basic computer and technical skills, and self-confidence.

With this initiative, the university aims to motivate school students to pursue technology as their career with the help of various resources provided by TCS. Students get a chance to receive design thinking, mobile app development, and mentorship from TCS employees. 

In addition to the training session, Tata Consultancy Services will further offer an ‘Entrepreneurship in Tourism’ program under its flagship BridgeIT program to Kashmir University students,

The University of Kashmir Program will be open for interested and eligible students under the Department of Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure Studies from the academic session 2022. With this program, students will be able to participate in the tourism industry with ease.

As of now, the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is working towards offering various education facilities to students under its Youth Employment Program (YEP), BridgeIT, goIT, Ignite My Future (IMF), and Adult Literacy Program (ALP). 

The collaboration with the University of Kashmir is also an initiative of the TCS to increase the employability skills of students across India. The various youth employability programs will work towards the same goal for the next three years.
