THE Graduate Employability Rankings 2021: IITs, IISc, IIM Ahmedabad Among Top 200 Universities; Check Details Here


Times Higher Education (THE) Graduate Employability Rankings 2021 session was recently released on November 24, 2021. As per the rankings released, the IIIT Delhi has secured its title as one of the "rising stars" by securing the 27th rank.

Under THE Graduate Employability Rankings 2021, seven Indian Universities have been featured in the top 250 ranks. The rankings have been calculated based on the university’s academic excellence, digital performance, focus on work, and other parameters. 

Among the top 100 institutes in THE Graduate Employability Rankings 2021, IIT Bombay, and the IISc Bangalore have secured their position after the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.

While on the other hand, IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Kharagpur, Amity University, and Bangalore University are some of the top Indian Universities that have ranked under the 250 top universities list of THE Rankings 2021. 

As for the international universities, the top three positions have been awarded to prestigious universities of the USA: the first place has been secured by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, second by the California Institute of Technology, and third by Harvard University.

Referring to the rankings released for Indian Universities, the official release said, “Indian universities see a clear rise for the first time in years due to strengths in subject specialization and graduate skills”.

“IT Delhi holds on to 27th place and all other universities ranked last year (six total) climb an average of 20 places in the table. Bangalore University (249th) enters the ranking for the first time” the official release further added.

As per the official statement released, THE Graduate Employability Rankings 2021 calculates rankings of all universities based on their Academic Excellence, Digital performance, Focus on Work, Soft skills and digital literacy, Internationalism, and Specializations available. 

Those who secure high scores in all parameters are awarded with the top rankings. Based on the overall scores, THE Graduate Employability Rankings released for the 2021 session are as follows:
