TNAU 2020: Tamil Nadu Students Secure 25 percent ICAR Seats, Read Details Here


According to the official reports, students from various districts of Tamil Nadu have secured 30 seats and got seat allotment at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), which is 25 percent of the total seat matrix.

The AIEEAICAR (All India Entrance Examination Admission- Indian Council of Agricultural Research) has released an allotment of seats for the students for the academic year 2020 at the ICAR exam portal, and the total ICAR seat matrix of 120 students from different states across the country has been allotted to TNAU

Meanwhile, ICAR is holding AIEEA for undergraduate admission- 2020 for BSc (Agri) and allied subjects, and the state agriculture universities have reserved 15 percent of the total seats to students who got admission through the All India Entrance Examination Admission.

A varsity press release stated on Monday that during this academic year, the domicile state students were allotted 30 seats from different districts of Tamil Nadu and also got allotment in TNAU that accounted for 25 percent of the total seat matrix.

Dr. N Kujmar, TNAU Vice-Chancellor, appreciated the students from Tamil Nadu who sought admission at TNAU and opted for agriculture as their profession, the release stated.
