UIET Kathua B.Tech Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 16

New Delhi: UIET Jammu University has begun the application process for admission to B.Tech programmes for the academic year 2022-2023. Applicants can download the application form through the official website www.uietju.in 

UIET Jammu University is inviting applications for B.Tech in Civil Engineering and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The notice has been released for the Kathua Campus. The duration of the programme is 4 years and the number of seats is 60 in each stream. 

Students who have not received their intermediate results are also eligible to apply for the courses at UIET. However, they need to produce the certificates or mark sheets at the time of admission. 

Admission to UIET for the academic year will begin on August 1, 2022. Candidates can download the application form for the programmes online and email it till August 16, 2022.

UIET B.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have passed Hr. Sec. Part II (10+2) with 50% (General Candidates) and 45% for the reserved categories from the J&K Board of School education or any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

UIET B.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process 

Candidates can check the selection process for admission to the courses here: 

• Candidates will be selected based on JEE Main score of 2022.
• If seats remain vacant, the University of Jammu shall conduct a test to admit the candidates against the remaining vacant seats.
• 90% of the seats (out of 60 seats in each stream) shall be reserved for the students who belong to Hr. Sec. (10+2) schools falling within the jurisdiction of the University of Jammu while 10% shall be open to all including the candidates who belong to other regions of the UT/Country.

UIET B.Tech Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Candidates have to download the application form from the official website uietju.in

Step 2: Then candidates have to make a single PDF file of the form along

with all the relevant documents including the payment slip of 1350 INR and submit the application form through E-mail at uietkc@gmail.com.

Step 3: Candidates have to mention their Name, Parentage, Name of the Board, Latest JEE Main Score, 10+2 Marks and percentage and contact number in the E-mail and then attach the PDF file of the application form along with the mentioned documents.

Step 4: Only applications submitted through E-mail will be entertained and other modes of application submission will not be entertained.
