Unipune, French Institute Host India France Knowledge Summit 2021 (Third Edition) from Nov 24; Details Here


India France Knowledge Summit 2021: French Institute in India, Embassy of France in India and Unipune is organising the third edition of India France Knowledge Summit 2021 (KS3) for three days, from November 24 to November 26, 2021. 

Co-Hosted by Unipune, also known as Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), the India France Knowledge Summit 2021 is held in online mode due to COVID-19 restrictions. The summit aims to support academic collaboration between France and India. 

The India France Knowledge Summit (KS) 2021 will be held for three days in partnership with France’s Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), and the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA).

During the summit, the speakers will share and exchange their ideas on topics of mutual interest. The event aims to focus on scientific as well as transversal challenges faced by the health sciences and society. Explore: Top research institutes in France

The official press release stated, “KS3 will focus on research and scientific activities. The main objective is to promote the tools and methods for better structuring our cooperation. t is an opportunity for our respective countries to underline the success of our scientific collaboration, identify new leads of joint research, and discuss ideas on tackling global challenges, the French Institute.”

As per the press release, the third edition of KS3 was inaugurated by Frédérique Vidal, France’s Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship on November 24, 2021. 

The event is held in the presence of Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India among others. A total of 100 speakers will also join and share their ideas during the three-day summit. 

The Third Edition of Indo France Knowledge Summit 2021 will mainly focus on finding better methods of collaboration between the two countries. The event is expected to receive a large number of participants during the online commencement of the summit. 

The event will reform the current alliance and will also include various interactive sessions on topics such as aerospace, smart cities, electric mobility, urban planning and architecture, agriculture, and food among others between India and France. Also check: Study in France

Referring to the highlights of KS3, the officials said, “It is an opportunity for our respective countries to underline the success of our scientific collaboration, to draw some new leads of joint research work and also to discuss and exchange ideas on global challenges; that had to be tackled”.
