• Candidates should have completed a masters degree with 55% aggregate marks in the relevant field.
• For SC/ST candidates and for candidates who have completed the PG degree before 1991, the minimum can be 50%.
• Aa part of the selection process applicants need to appear in the PhD entrance examination conducted by the university.
• Students who have secured a qualified score in TANCET/ CSIR NET/ UGC are exempted from the entrance test.
• Shortlisted candidates then need to appear in the interview round.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of UOM, at uom.ac.in.
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details such as Name, Email Id, Contact Number etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
