The Government Girl’s Post-Graduate College, Ujjain was inspected by a team from Vikram University on January 2, 2021, before the launch of a new research center in the English department of the college.
Dr. Gehlot, HOD of the English Department facilitated a tour of the college for the inspection team. Dr. Balakrishna Sharma, the former VC of Vikram University and the Director of Scindia Oriental Research Institute led the team to inspect the GGPGC before opening the research center in the English department.

The team included various prominent members like Dr. JL Barmaiya, the Principal of Madhav College, Dr. Achala Sharma, Head of English in School of Studies, and Dr. Rajshri Sheth, HoD of English Department in Madhav College.
The college was reported to have achieved sufficient compatibility for opening a new research center for the English department. The team inspected the college library during the tour facilitated by Dr. Gehlot. They also checked the books, reference materials, and research publications of the department professors present in the college library.
During this inspection, Dr. Anita Manchandia, the Principal of GGPGC along with Dr. Neeta Tapan, Convener of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and Senior Professor Dr. Ravindra Bharadwaj were present. The faculty of the Department of English also attended the tour which included Dr. Seema Sharma, Dr. Bharti Shrivastava, and Dr. Niranjana Malani.
