VITEEE 2020 Counselling has begun for B.Tech Admissions; Know Schedule and Other Details

Vellore Institute of Technology has started the online counselling procedure of VITEEE 2020 from August 10, 2020 (Monday). This year the counselling of  VITEEE 2020  will be conducted in online mode due to ongoing pandemic in four phases 

As per the report, the candidates will be called for VITEEE 2020 counselling according to the ranks secured in the VITEEE 2020 entrance examination.

In order to participate in the  VIT 2020 Counselling  Procedure, candidates are required to pay the registration fee of INR 5000. Seat Allotment will be based on the choices filled by the candidates during the counselling procedure.

Candidates appearing in the counselling can check the date and rank-wise schedule tabulated below:

Those students who will be allotted seats will have to pay the admission fee in advance i.e. 50% of the tuition fee within the three day window. The last day to pay the fee is September 10, 2020. 

Candidates can also avail the facility to talk to trained counsellors and faculty who can help students with making the right choice. 

As per Kadambari Vishwanathan, Asst. Vice President, VIT Vellore, a total of 1,83,000 applications were received for admission into B.Tech admissions 2020. The rank list of VITEEE 2020 was published on August 5, 2020. 

The Authorities have also cancelled the VITEEE 2020 exam in view to COVID-19 situation. The admissions are being done on the basis of the candidate’s score in Class 12th PCM/PCB subjects.
