WBSU PhD Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 25

New Delhi: West Bengal State University (WBSU) has begun the application process for the Ph.D programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @wbsu.ac.in. 

As per WBSU, the admission process is now open for Ph.D courses in various departments of Anthropology, Computer Science, Physical Education & Sports Science. 

To apply for WBSU PhD Admission 2022, candidates have to meet the required eligibility criteria and submit their applications along with a copy of required documents to the admission cell in offline mode before the given deadline: August 25, 2022.

WBSU Ph.D Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the subject concerned from a recognised university securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% Marks for SC/ST/PH candidates) at the postgraduate level to be eligible for admissions to the Ph.D programme. 

WBSU Ph.D Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the qualifying degree examination, Research Entrance Test (RET), followed by a viva-voce cum interview round conducted by WBSU. 
• UGC-NET/ SET/ GATE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply 
• The lists of selected candidates shall be available on the University website. 

WBSU Ph.D Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of WBSU @wbsu.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
