WBUHS M.Sc & PB B.Sc Nursing Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the WBUHS M.Sc & PB B.Sc Nursing Program offered can now check the detailed Eligibility criteria mentioned below:

MSc Nursing:

Candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
The candidate should have undergone B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. 6.Candidate shall be medically fit. 7. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

PB B.Sc Nursing:

Candidate must have passed (10+2) level examination(Theory & Practical/ including completion of internship (where applicable)) from any recognized board(Boards/ Councils published And listed in WBJEEB Website).
Candidates must have passed the GNM course and obtained registration/RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.
The Upper age limit for the candidate presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt is 53 years(as on the last date of application) and no upper age limit for the candidate presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt is 53 years(as on the last date of application) and no upper age limit for others(including ESI/Central govt.employee).

WBUHS M.Sc & PB B.Sc Nursing Admission 2023: Selection Process

MSc Nursing:

In order to seek admission in M.Sc, eligible candidates are required to appear in WBPGNAT which is again conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance examination Board.

PB BSc Nursing:

Admission is through counselling conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences based on the rank obtained in the West Bengal NURSING Admission Test Examination (WBNAT).
