WBUT PGET 2020: Vacant Seats Admission, Counselling Stage Notice Released @makautwb.ac.in; Check Schedule Here

The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology has uploaded a notification regarding the admission on vacant seats and counselling processes based on WBUT PGET 2020. The notice is released on its official website makautwb.ac.in.

Earlier, the varsity conducted the entrance exam WBUT PGET 2020 on September 8. The authority declared the result of the same on September 14. The application process for admissions for vacant seats has already started on November 13. Applicants will be able to apply till November 23.

The candidates are selected after 3 stages including the written exam, counselling procedure, and Document verification. The counselling stage will be held on November November 25. Selected candidates will be required to verify various documents on November 30.

WBUT PGET 2020: Instructions and Process for Counselling

Following is the procedure for the counselling stage:

• Candidates who clear the entrance exam with the qualifying cut-off are eligible for counselling process.
• Candidates are then required to register themselves on the official website. 
• Selected candidates are required to make payment of the counselling fee through demand draft. The counselling fee is Rs. 500.
• The demand draft must be in the name of ‘WBUT-PGET’.
• Select the college and course as per the preference.
• Seat allotment will be carried in which the preference for the college and the result of the entrance exam conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, will be considered.
• If satisfied with the seat allotted, candidates will be required to report at the allotted college. If not satisfied, candidates must wait for further counselling rounds.

Candidates must submit the following documents for the verification process:

• Marksheet and certificates (from class 10 till date)
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile Certificate (if the candidate requires admission in government colleges)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• WBUT PGET 2020 Admit card
• GATE scorecard (if qualified GATE)
• WBUT PGET 2020 Rank Card
• Demand draft of counselling fee
