Over 85% of the Final year students of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University are appearing for the final year exams online without any complications in an organized way.
The YCMOU is currently conducting exams for final year students that started from October 7. The exams will end on October 30. Apart from YCMOU, other universities in Nashik are facing problems in conducting examinations in online mode. They are unable to fix problems in the system.

The exams are held in Multiple Choice Questions format. Over 1.91 Lakh students are appearing for the exams via various modes like laptop, mobile, etc.
The university follows simple rules for the smooth conduct of exams. They mentioned that they have not imposed any condition on the usage of gadgets for exams. Around 85% of the students are appearing for the ongoing exam.
The highlighting part of the online examination is that 65% of the appearing candidates belong to rural areas. The university has given the freedom of timings. There are no time constraints for appearing for the exam.

The exam timings are divided into two slots, morning slot and evening slot. Both the slots consist of 5 hours each. The only pre-requisite for the exam was that a student must be present for 2 hours continuously between 8 am-1 pm and 3 pm- 8 pm.
The Nashik- based university will provide another chance to students who are unable to give the ongoing exam. The varsity will release the timetable for the same after the ongoing exams are over.
